This is a desk lamp I created from an old BMW rear brake disk and thrashed internals of a WSK motorcycle. I was lucky the gear shaft had a hole going through, so I could thread in the wires inside and get a really neat look. I just had to chop one end off and weld on a big ol’ nut. Then I hollowed out a corresponding bolt to use as a threaded end. I finished it with a brass like fitting with a pull string switch and a retro LED bulb that gives that nice, warm light.
